Obesity: An Overview of Current Landscape and Prevention-related Activities in Ontario

The Ontario Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance (OCDPA) was contracted by the Public Health Agency of Canada – Ontario and Nunavut (PHAC-ON/NU) regional office to perform a literature review and compile a list of obesity prevention-related initiatives within the province of Ontario. Based on previous work in the area, the OCDPA was asked to develop a resource for use by PHAC-ON/NU staff from various divisions to enhance awareness and support knowledge exchange on the issues, background and current landscape of obesity prevention-related activities in Ontario.
