Letter to the Ministry of Health Promotion regarding investment to reduce childhood obesity in Ontario

July, 2008

The OCDPA has sent a letter to the Ministry of Health Promotion which recommends that part of the $10 million investment be used to develop and address systems elements to prevent childhood obesity. In the letter, The OCDPA has included a number of policy and programming for consideration which are applicable to implement in multiple settings, including after-school and recreation based programming across Ontario.
